ICT, ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND LIFE SKILLS TRAINING FOR WOMEN

Do you desire to take up a career in ICT?

Are you an entrepreneur or desire to be one?

Are you self employed?

Are you an unemployed high school leaver, college or university graduate?

The African Centre for Women, Information and Communications Technology (ACWICT) in partnership with Microsoft Corporation’s Unlimited Potential Program and the International Youth Foundation is inviting applications from suitable women candidates for ICT, entrepreneurship and life skills training to be conducted at ACWICT’s Training Centre on Makueni Road off Othaya Road in Kileleshwa beginning on June 18, 2007.  The training is open to women who meet any of the above criteria.
Suitable young women aged between 18-35 years of age who live in Nairobi’s informal settlements are highly encouraged to apply.

Microsoft Corporation, a global technology leader committed to innovation and broadening digital inclusion through its Unlimited Potential Program enhances technology skills of underserved young people and adults through community telecentres.

The African Centre for Women, Information and Communications Technology (ACWICT) is a pioneer Kenyan based ICT for Development organization with regional outreach, whose mission is to promote women's access to the use of   ICTs as tools for social, economic and political advancement.

Registration is on-going till 9.00 am on Monday June 18, 2007.
