ODM Kenya: Women to watch

ODM Kenya is the only major political party with a woman as the running mate. Professor Julia Ojiambo scored yet another first as Kalonzo Musyoka named her his running mate, making it the first time a Woman has been named running mate in Kenya...
Julia, a veteran politician and currently a nominated Member of Parliament became the 1st female Assistant Minister in 1974. Julia has not only been an inspiration and role model to women in Kenya, but has also been instrumental in developing several Women led organizations.

ODM Kenya has attracted Peris Tobiko of Kajiado Central was also the Secretary of the Party. Others include Florah Terah, Caroline Malinda of Makueni, Jenepher Masis (Kwanza), Pauline Kivila (Machakos Town) and Shakilla Mohammed (Lamu East) who has been very active in party politics and women affairs in the district.
